In the second quarter of 2024, the Android platform saw varying trends among the top virtual fitness applications in the United States. Sensor Tower's detailed insights reveal the performance of these apps during this period.

Google Fit: Activity Tracking experienced a significant spike in downloads, reaching a peak of 4.4M in late April, followed by a gradual decline to 256K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, soaring to 19K before settling at around 10K.

The Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group also saw fluctuations, with downloads peaking at 1.7M in early April and descending to 455K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a high of around 25K and a low of 18K.

Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) maintained a steady download count, hovering just under 1M, and concluded the quarter with 569K downloads. Active users stayed consistent, with a slight dip from 15K to 14K over the quarter.

Another version of Step Counter - Pedometer, this time from Hitchhike Tech, showed a range of 867K to 495K downloads, with weekly active users gradually declining from 3.2K to 2.6K.
